Lightbulb How possible is it to swap the factory steering wheel with an aftermarket one??

So I have a 2011 Camaro SS and I was looking into put a smaller steering wheel in... not sure how easy it would be. I've been told by some you just unbolt it and switch it and others have said its super tough to do cause there is an airbag. Its a manual and I am a short girl so I'm looking for something that wont be in my way so much haha. Sooo guys what are your thoughts?!

there are a couple of threads about swapping steering wheels, seems like an easy task, although you would lose a lot of functionality like airbag or audio controls i would think.
