well i paid $5k over for mine last may just bc i was so impatient and the dealer had one on the lot

Although I would never pay over sticker for a car ever, no matter if it was owned by Elvis or a living or dead Beatle.

For the life of me I do not understand why people are so concerned about the selling price of car they are not buying. Dealerships especially now in a down market need to make profit, YES I said it PROFIT. No one in here with a job works for free, and unless they work for the government the proceeds that pay them came from profits of a service or product. If you are a government employee then your paycheck came from the blood and sweat of other people's hard earn money via taxes. When you sell your home or your used car, you always try to max out the profit in your favor and of course the buyer tries to min the cost. That is a Free Market system.
