How much did your insurance go up?
I traded a 2011 Hyundai Sonata in for a 2015 Camaro 2SS/RS. 47 years old with a clean driving record. My insurance only went up $68 annually. I was actually shocked. Curious what others experienced.

2006 cobalt for the '14 LT/RS. It went down about 40-50 bucks a year. Im 53 with a 6 star.

I had a 99 Wrangler, and just bought a 2014 Camaro. My insurance went from 64 dollars a month to 200.
Still winning in my book

I think it depends on the insurance co., I had allstate and they wanted $1000 more a year from an 08 Ford Edge to a 11 LT1 vert. I immediately switched to USAA and it actually went down $10-15 a month from the original policy.

I went from a 2012 V6 Camaro to a 2014 Camaro SS and my insurance only went up $40 per six months. I guess I'm getting old.

I did the same trade hyundai to camaro and camaro was actually cheaper

2013 v6 to 2014 1ss rs
I upgraded from a base 2013 camaro v6 to a 2014 1ss rs and I went up 11 dolars. Im 27 and live in miami fl.

My insurance went down with the Camaro. 2006 Saturn Ion Redline to new '10 Camaro SS. 32, perfect record.

went from 2010 1LT v6 to a 2011 2ss v8, went up from 57.40 to 58.03 a month if I remember right, whole .63 cents. it is now down to low 57ish now. pretty painless. I have Erie insurance. when I went from all state to Erie I went from 120 to less than half. All state were leaches in my area, will never go back to them!

When I added the Camaro, it was 80/month, but that was just adding it, not replacing a vehicle.

2008 Infiniti G35X to 2014 Camaro SS: Yearly difference is $200 but the Camaro is a newer car and I got extra coverage. No "steps" as we call them in massachusetts so that helps (ie no accidents). Would be the same for any new car in price range.
