I was at school today walking to my car and the wind was so strong I falling backwards, and on top of that the AP(assistant principal) made an anouncement of a tornadoe warning, I live in Southern California!!! So I guess it's the beginning of the end.

Yeah, my sister lives in Chula Vista. She said the wind was CRAZY!!!

Yeah, no kidding. We are having earthquakes in Oklahoma. I guess God is just keeping it even.

turn your shoulder into the wind and lean into it. Greatly reduces the area exposed.

So did any of you see a tornado? I live right in the middle of tornado alley and it's just a way of life here, but I would guess that it would be scary if you are not used to it.

Most of the really bad ones come at night here.

Ok, if you've seen Day After Tomorrow.... just remember the tornado seen in LA there. DON'T STAND AROUND STARING AT THE DAMN THING!

Find a basement if you can, if not get to a sturdy room without windows and hunker down (bathrooms are ideal), cover your head. Most tornadoes don't last very long.

He's not kidding. It gets to a point where its just "oh look, another one."

When I was a kid, I remember going out on my bike when there was a tornado warning because I wanted to see one in person. Then I saw one in person finally and it kind of lost its fun. Now I mostly just ignore them.
