!LOL! I could manage to get mine to do it as well, a nice clutch pop and that little 3 cylinder sewing machine could spin the tires for a little bit.

My brother had an auto swift (pretty much the same as a metro).

He once spun (chirped, really) the tires trying to take off on a hill, and was ecstatic (this was during the time that I was driving the IROC). I told him it didn't count.

So people are saying its possible but they apparently aren't talking about an auto. Ok I guess you can't do it in the auto v6.

Would you guys recommend leaving traction control off everytime I drive it or should I keep it on sometimes.

Depends how ofter you want to replace your tires ...... Don't forget if you have the RS package you can't rotate front to rear.

It also seems just the younger crew are concerned about lighting up the rear, it looks cool but a waste of time and speed . The object is not to spin the back tires. If you really are bent on smoking the rears, put it in M and brake torque it to get them spinning.

Turn it off at the track...use it all the time on roads. If you're doing anything that works better with traction control off then it's probably something that shouldn't be done on public roads.
