? You say this fuse pull is not applicable to the 2010 SS/RS.
mclark10;6622770]The NPP dual mode exhaust didn't come out until 2012. I believe this is an option on the SS. Looks like yours is a 2010.[/QUOTE]

Correct. Do not confuse this fuse pull for the 'fuse pull' to restore your ECM to running on the higher octane table. This fuse pull they're referring to has to do with the exhaust system on the ZL1 and optional on the newer SS's. |

We Installed the Mild to Wild, so we can open and close with the push of a button. It only took my girlfriend about 30 minutes to install and put back together. Well worth it!

I did the fuse pull trick a few weeks ago and I like it. I think it makes my car a little louder but nothing that I can't handle. Matter of fact, my Maggied SS was much louder than my Z is.

YES! Did it before leaving the dealership upon delivery and have not looked back! Never even drove it with the fuse in!

Is the "MILD to WILD" conversion legal in TEXAS as far as getting an inspection?

Literally the easiest thing I've done to a car except maybe put air in the tires, lol.
No reason for it to be illegal.

Putting it in Wild mode is allways open so you may or may not pass inspection. But having the device on the car in general will not cause you to fail if in Mild mode. However, why not save the money and just pull the fuse. I did and have not looked back. Not like it's hard to get back into the area to put the fuse in before an inspection if thats what your worried about.
