I believe there is only a six month production schedule for the Hot Wheels edition and no other package option can be added.

Your passion is the edition and color, keep the order.
Seeing that the OP is looking for a car that will keep and possibly increase it's value over time, modding it would only serve to decrease that value. That being said, out of all the "specialty" Camaro's that GM has and will produce, I think the LS7 version, if it actually comes to fruition, will be the keeper.

Well at this point the LS7 is all speculation and hopes and dreams. The Hot Wheels is a definite and it also wont cost a fortune. I'd just grab the Hot Wheels while I could.

Would rather wait to see if the 2014 LS7 was in production; if not then would be easy to find a 2013 Hotwheels.

That Hot Wheels car looks awesome.....I know I could never get rid of my Aqua Blue...I just couldn't!! (cept maybe for a 6th gen if I end up loving them lol)

I say if you are OK with modding, get the Hot Wheels. Otherwise if you don't want to mod, but need more power...well then good luck waiting!

If I were to mod the Hot Wheels car id prob just do and exhaust and headers and a computer mod...nothing that i cant put back to original. The hot wheels car is only being offer for like 4 months I believe, what ever orders GM gets for them they get in that time and that's it. I think its going to be a real limited production car, its also the 1st time Hot Wheels has ever done a collaboration with a car manufacturer, plus you can only get it in that blue which I love and think its the hottest color to date along with the aqua blue that the car comes in. That being said I think there's some value to that.

Unfortunately we sold the chevy dealership and went into the boat business...I wish I can do that one over again! I spoke to my buddy who I ordered the car from today he said the car will be in, in a month YIKES! its a little sooner then I thought. But that LS7 is killing me. SOO torn!

If I had the money I'd get the hot wheels edition Convertible and get the dual mode exhaust as an option....

There will be no convertible for me I think it takes away from the car...then again its always nice to drop the top. As far as the LS7 car goes I should be talking to an old friend from GM...I should have the full story on that car in a few days.

How much of a hp gain to you guys think I'd get from doing like a kooks exhaust, a computer mod or chip, and an intake? I'm sure some of you guys out there have done it.

By the way if you guys are looking or know of any one that might be my buddy has a 2011 SS for sale done up like crazy its putting out 700+hp has a suspension in it, wheels....etc Black on Black he looking to get rid of. Let me know.
