Black Billet Bow Ties

Has anyone put the Black Billet Bow Ties on there 2010 or newer Camaro ? I've seen on different Camaro Accessory sites that they are attached with 3M automotive tape. Do these stick on right over the factory bow ties, or do you remove the factory ones, and how do you do that ?

Thanks, Wayne

Remove the old ones. The rear is with 3m tape. The front bowtie on the grill goes on with two bolts. I'm on my phone so I can't upload any pictures

I've got the front one on mine but I'm taking it off. It's painted black. It's too flat for my taste. I had an OEM that was Plasti-dipped that I broke trying to take it off. I think that I'll order another OEM and plasti-dip it. The OEM has some depth to it. Just my opinion.

its actually really easy to pull of the original bowtie, you can pop it off with your hands. after that you just get a flat tip screwdriver and pop off the gold bowtie, and the black billet bowtie has preattached 3m tape that you use to stick on the bowtie housing
