Engine dyno for sure is the only real way to test them. Keep switching from car to car isnt a true test.

My bet will be you'd only get headers from Stainless works, Kooks, ARH, LG and yours.

Please do this. Set up a kick-starter and I'll gladly throw in a few bucks for an apples-to-apples comparison.

My goal is to be the Worlds FASTEST Bolt On Only Gen5 Camaro! These headers will put me 1 step closer!

I agree take it to the track saying BUT there are many variables that happen at the track. In the dyno room it is the ONLY place where it is in a controlled environment and is the correct place to see where there are losses or gains or are equal.

Im in it Jason, what would you like from me?

If this is done, it honestly needs to be done by a shop that doesn't make Camaro headers.

Which would leave TSP and us out for doing the testing.

Just to be fair.

This is true. But dyno numbers sell products.

Anyway I think everyone would love to see a side by side dyno comparison.

Be careful if you say anything remotely negative on this site about certain vendors you get a stern warning!

With that being said, yes I am sick of all the claims being made.

Just for the record I'm very happy with the performance from my TSP headers.

Theres so many ways to scew a dyno graph and through the years, I've seen waaaaaay more than my fair share coming up through the LS1/6 market. Ive seen shops detune cars (remove timing, fat AFR and low octain gas) and then add their parts and over tune the car (massive timing, lean AFR and race fuel) to get some crazy claims never to be duplicated by a consumer.

Yea, it was a sad shame that Thunder went out. They were part of the pioneers of the LS1 community. They were my go to shop for parts. I've literally spent 10s of thousands with them. Jason had a very similar screen name as you on Tech.
