help please

I bought some oem ZL1 splash guards and front canards for my 2014 1LE. The problem at hand is that they don't bolt right up like people are saying. Where they would screw in is much too shallow for them to sit all the way back like they should. I looked at a 2013 ZL1 today, and they have a completely different wheel well inside the fender than mine does.

Please help if you can.. I'm tired of hearing these rocks hit.

Thanks

The ZL1s fit but one of the screw holes is not used on the 1LE (I believe it is the one farthest in the wheel well). It took me a bit to figure out too, but there is another thread here which has the instructions with nice pics.

looking at those pictures.. it seems as though the 2013 has more room to fit the zl1 guards?? I unscrewed the screws that are there and lifted back the shield and putting the splash guard up to the screws, but it doesn't sit flush like it should.. the 3m tape isn't even on the fender. Am i doing something completely wrong? I hope I am..

Did the rears fit fine or is it both front and rear having issues? Just curious because I want to order the rears and want to make sure they will fit with no issue.

the wheel wells from the zl1 and my car look completely different.. there's maybe an inch of room from the edge of the fender to the black shield inside the wheel well.. on the zl1 its like 3 time's that.. it's obvious that it would fit on the zl1 after looking at it, but on my 1le it doesn't look like it has the clearance.

The 2013 hardware won't fit as the rear facia changed in 2014.
