2013 with ...Hill Park Assist????

HILL PARK ASSIST...this is an option I believe came on my new 2013 2SS/RS and I am worried it may not be acting right ...can I turn it off? I was going up a small hill when traffic slowed to a crawl and all of the sudden my car just stopped and acted like I had applied the emergency brake I finally gave it a fair amount of gas and it "broke loose" and drove fine ...this has happened three times in the few hundred miles I have on the car... It Is kind of unnerving and after the rent I should have paid the dealer for all the time I have spent in the service bay with the old Camaro and the sales force with my new baby...I don't want to bother them if it is my ignorance of how it works...

any info from you experts out there would be great!

thanks !

Info is in the manual on how to turn it off. A gentleman posted on how to do it here the other day but he said he copied it out of the manual.

So it in fact can be turned off on the camaro? The posts I have seen on it were how to turn it off on other cars like Fords.

I thought the guy said the instructions he printed out came from a Camaro manual. Maybe not, will have to wait till mine gets here and see.

I'm awaiting my 2013 myself and am also looking forward to any news on a possible disable for this feature.
