Thanks Mike! I'm shooting for a nice blend of show and go. Also since I'm going hugger orange, the exterior will be more aligned to "classic" camaro styling which SLP has done a great job of capturing.

I look forward to it.

A little back history and reasoning for the "Chapter 2" complete overhaul on my car. Again, I want to preface with a huge thank you to everyone that has found interest in my car and the way I was able to piece it together. I understand that there will be a decent chunk of you that don't agree with why I may be making the drastic changes. No worries...

Many years ago when I was just a child, I remember the car that got me into cars. It was a late 60s model Camaro. It was bright Hugger Orange with Black rally and hockey stripes. I even remember trying to make model cars just like it. When I first got my camaro I had the intentions of one day going hugger orange and in a ways recreating a modern throwback. With some help from SLP and Altauto that is going to happen. I appreciate all the help they've provided as well in working with me to create this Heritage throwback.

Here is the closest picture I can find to the car/era in which we are trying to closely mimic.

Of course the modern Gen 5 Camaro did a great job of doing this. Now just needed the hugger orange, painted stripes, a few other things, and why not add some serious HP and Suspension mods while at it.

Here are the renders that are being used as reference for the exterior. We'll see how nicely the finished product comes out and how close it matches up to the renders.

I'm going with STATUS Racing seats. Their SPA model. Here are some pics of the type of seat. I'm getting them in Black leather outer with Ultrasuede Inserts with OEM orange stitching.

Renders of the actual design are below with the renders of the rear seat for the upholster to match.

Thanks for the updated list bro, now I just got a bunch of engine ideas

Here's the way to go for the rear center piece & add the Trutrac.. You can even get the pumpkin powder coated.

Yeah man, as always I have to return the poor influence. ;-)

Great link on the rear diff. Hmm, which gear ratio to get...

WOW! Great transformation. I like it MUCH better than version one. I like the looks as it is a throw back that wont go out of style down the road I will be keeping tabs on this build. Oh, I also love the seats!

Nathan - I really appreciate it. I'm glad folks are digging it. I agree, if I can hold onto this thing over the years, style won't be an issue. Hopefully a new classic. We'll see.

Just a heads up, I know this is early. But my car will be featured again at the Camaro Nationals this summer inside at SLP's booth. I'm hoping that any C5'ers that do swing by and happen to walk over our way, please introduce yourself. It's always great to meet folks from here!
