Brakes and rotors

I know this has probably been beaten to death but here it goes. 2011 Camaro SS, I need new rotors and brakes. Whats everyone using for a 600HP car these days. Right now Im OEM rotors with Hawk pads and 32,000 miles, time for a change.

I've got the stock Brembo calipers with ceramic pads and zinc coated, drilled and slotted rotors from Brake Performance. Braided hoses are supposed to give you quicker pedal response but I haven't tried them

Stock Brembros are probably fine. What makes you think you need more brake than stock?

Wearing Powerstop rotors (reasonably priced), but they will require you to turn them prior to installing. Otherwise they will squeel... once done tho, they look great and do the job nice and quiet.

I'm also wearing TRW Ceramic pads.

totes bro

I have the brembos calipers with HPS hawk pads, they are noisy as hell after a long drive. Not that I'm braking hard or anything, but these things heat up and then try to embarrass you at your first stop light.

Granatelli rotors are one of our favorite brands to use for track or daily driver. Match those with some Hawk HPS 5.0 or HP Plus and you'll have a great set up.

Let us know if you have any questions!
