Yeah, if you order something large, I think their prices are good. However, I wanted to order an SS badge for $12 and they wanted to add $15 shipping. I didn't order for that reason. No matter what you buy, they seem to charge $15 shipping. So, if you just want something small, it's not a good deal.

Not necessarily, I bought some of the push in retainers and they only charged me 97 cents shipping and handling...
but they did charge me $15 for the Bow tie.. go figure...

Best thing to do is wait till you need to order several things at once, I don;t think they charge $15 for each item. I think it is more of a order processing fee than shipping.

They are a local chevy dealer here in North Carolina {Winston- Salem} and they are a fairly large dealer with multiple brands , I had actually ordered my car there originally in may,2009 but could never get an allocation and switched dealers and they were very cool about it and refunded my deposit no questions ask and even wished me luck on my order from another dealer and spoke highly of the dealer I ordered from , I wouldnt hesitate one second in buying from them

Wow. Sounds like I am the only one to have problems with them. I live only about 1 hour away from them in NC and have been waiting 1 month for a trunk mat and Transformer wheel centers, neither of which are on back order. The only communication I have received from them is that they are too busy to respond to my emails. I wish I would have read other Corvette forum posts prior to ordering any merchandise from them because others encountered the same problem. I glad to hear that other people on this site have had a much more positive experience than myself but I will never order another thing from them.

I ordered the 4 pack guages part 92247188, 8 weeks ago and haven't got them yet because they are on backorder which I don't blame gmpartsdirect for but it's getting old waiting for the part. They have communicated well they even said I could cancel because of the backorder but I'll just continue to wait. It's only guages not something I have to get right away.

I ordered a corvette window switch and had a good experience last week. They do charge high s/h, but looking at the total price they still could not be beat.

Just as another point of reference, I ordered splash guards from them on Friday, and the order shipped today. Much faster than I've seen in the past from them.
