Call it the C-5 Shark

It's a nice evolution from the C-4 Catfish

the SR-71 was also commonly called "The Sled"

......fitting for the Camaro for it's prowess at sliding around in the winter like a sled if not respected fully.

Those names for the aircraft aren't nicknames, those are the actual names of those aircraft, and example of a nickname for an aircraft for the F-16 as an example is "Lawn Dart"

I am a weapons loader on USAF aircraft, I've worked on A-10s and F-16s. Just sayin

and Camaro is a good enough name for me no need to call it anything else, its a small vicious animal that eats mustangs.

I agree Camaro is great. The F-16 is seriously nicknamed the "Lawn Dart" by the crew, I thought it was "Viper". The F-111 with fully swept back wings definitely looks like a lawn dart. Great to meet some military personnel, thanks for the great job you guys and girls are doing. I'm just a big fan of military aircraft and go to all kinds of airshows. Must be cool to load up the Warthogs, they are such bad a$$ attack aircraft.

Yeah, they just made up the destination for the movie so it does not confilct with an actual Russian aircraft. Plus most Russian aircraft destinated with even #s are usually air-to-ground aircraft (Tu-160, Su-32) and old #s are usually air-to-air aircraft (MiG-29, Su-27).
