Twin Cities end of year cruise

If you're part of the Northstar Camaro Club ( http://northstarcamaroclub.com) then you'll know about the end of year cruise. If not, here's some info. If your not a member anything the club sponsors (meals or what not) you'll have to cover at the location.
You're welcome to cruise with us either way though.

================================================== ==
We have finalized our route and agenda for the October End of Year Cruise.
Overall route from Woodbury, MN to Lake City, MN driving mostly on the Wisconsin side on the way down, about 2 hours of total driving time down.
This route is a little longer than our normal cruise route of 1 hour and 30 minutes, so we recommend that you bring along a small cooler with drinks and snacks.

Start
Meet at the Gander Mountain parking lot at 9:30am and depart promptly at 10am (10470 Hudson Road, Woodbury, MN).

First Leg - @ 35 minutes
Drive to Prescott, WI and stop at the Great River Road Visitor and Learning Center (Visitor Center Web Site).
We will stop here for about 20 minutes. They have rest rooms and parking with overflow parking. Also recommend that you make your gas stop in Prescott and then meet us at the visitor center a few blocks away.

Second Leg - @ 50 minutes
Drive to Pepin, WI and stop at the Laura Ingalls Wilder Park (Link to Pepin Depot Museum).
We will stop here for about 15 minutes. They have rest rooms and parking with overflow parking on the side street.
This portion of the drive showcases the river bluffs and then beautiful Lake Pepin.
From Hager City to Pepin there are several Scenic Lookouts of Lake Pepin on the right side of the road. None large enough for all of us to stop but for small groups of cars if you like. Then just regroup at the park in Pepin.

Third Leg - @ 30 minutes
Drive to Lake City, MN and stop for lunch. We have reservations for our group for 12:30pm.
After lunch, you are on your own to head back home. We suggest working in small groups on activities to do while heading back.

Some suggestions if taking in the local areas on your way home: Red Wing Pottery Shops, downtown Hastings, and Treasure Island Casino

Long-range weather forecast is showing a warm sunny day!

Hope to see you on the cruise.
