This actually isn't true. The last time I got the "pop up Private Offer" from the Chevy site it did not contain ANY personal information. It was just a generic "Here's a $1,000 Private Offer" and all you had to do it print it off and use it.

The $1000 offer I just printed off required the info I mentioned. My name and address is printed on it. Also states;

"Vehicle must be purchased or leased by the person who's name appears on offer code printout, or can be transfered only to an individual residing in the same household (same address)as the eligible recipient noted on the offer code print out."

"Transferee must provide proof of address" is also in the fine print on the bottom.

You will also need to give the PIN number on the offer to the dealer so he can get his authorization number.

I just read in the paper, they mentioned Private Offer/ Loyalty Bounus $1000. If you own any GM 99 or newer you get it.

I got the $1000 private offer on the Chevy site the other day that expires 2/28. The downloadable .pdf file has my name and address on it. This is for 2013 models only and I'd rather have the 0% financing on a 2012 leftover than $1000 off a 2013 so I won't be using this voucher. 0% financing saves you a hell of a lot more than a measly $1000, lol. Personally if I was dead set on a 2013 I wouldn't let $1000 make up my mind. You can wheel and deal down that much if you try and shop around enough... $1000 aint shit these days....

Must live in the same household to transfer the Private Offer. Thats what it states in the disclaimer near the bottom of the page.
