WHAT: SKYLINE DRIVE CRUISE "FALL WITH FRIENDS"
 (1 or 100 cars, i'm crusing Skyline drive so come join me! WHEN: 20 OCT 10:00 AM START (8:30AM BREAKFAST LOC: Starbucks 125 Riverton Commons Plaza Front Royal, VA 22630 (540) 635-4679) WHERE: Skyline Drive (I-66 to I-64 (Front Royal to Rockfish Gap Turnpike)) WHY: WHY NOT!!! IT'S FALL, THE LEAVES ARE TURNING AND WE NEED TO DRIVE OUR CARS ONE LAST TIME BEFORE IT SNOWS!! PRICE$$$$:  $10/$15 per car : Apparently it cost to cruise Skyline drive. you can pay when you enter. If there are clubs along the way that would like to hook up as we cruise done, PM me and we will work the details out. THE PLAN: - Pre-meet at 8:30 AM at the starbuck to grab some coffee. - Meet up at mile marker 5 (the visitor center) between 930 and 10 AM. Depart at 10 AM. A nice easy cruise down SkyLine drive. Stopping ever so often to either pick up other clubs along the way or just to snap photos. Ending with lunch at the Blue Mountain Brewery. Additional info: Breakfast:  Starbucks 125 Riverton Commons Plaza Front Royal, VA 22630 (540) 635-4679 End Point Lunch: Blue Mountain Brewery; 9519 Critzer Shop Road Afton, VA 22920. http://www.bluemountainbrewery.com/ They are located just about 4 miles from the end of Skyline Drive. I might be interested in that. It would be a hike to get to the starting point from Richmond, but Skyline would be sweet. Let me check my schedule.

The pre-meet is just for anyone who wants to grab coffe before we head out.
anyone who wants to just meet up at Mile Marker 5 (the visitor center) on skyline drive, i will be there at 930ish. I don't plan on leaving there until 10:00. Quote:

im sorry to report, the engine in the car blew this afternoon. clunck, pop, sputter... and the engine was done. anyone traveling near rt28 north on the over pass of i66.... that was me sitting on the side of the road! hopefully I will have it back by the 20th.
