Lambo doors on Phastek Performance

Anyone in here has this kit on their Camaros:

http://www.phastekperformance.com/20...-lambodoor.htm

It states that you are able to open the door just like normal as well (in other words - you still have the factory type door opening too).

Does anyone have a movie showing the functionality of these doors? I would like to see more as I am thinking of buying this kit myself and have it installed.

Thanks

We dont have a video, but we do have a shot from one of our Customer's Camaro down here in Houston. You can see how far out the doors swing when they are up. They come straight down.

Thank you for the reply Phastek. Can you also do the install procedure in Houston if I would buy this kit from you? I could drive down from Dallas if you are able to.

you cant open the door as wide as stock doors so getting in and out can be a pain, but they look killer at shows. I have them on mine

Here's my take on the doors:
1) They look killer at shows!
2) They aren't really practical for day to day use since they aren't hydraulic and most people are opening them normally when getting out since you can't easily lift the door vertically from a seated position.
3) They look killer at shows!

Great input, thanks! I am still deciding, so feedback like this is very much appreciated!

The doors are killer looking 4 one. They have their if's & don't points. But please they are not Lambo doors. Lambo doors go straight up from the roof. These are vertical doors. If I'm wrong I'm sorry.

I think I will skip this mod and put the money on something else, as I do not tend to use my car for show purposes and I do not like mods that compromises the original quality. Opening the doors fully being one.

Thanks all for your inputs!

Don't ruin that car with that old 1990s junk.

But that's just my suggestion. Surprised someone with great taste and appreciation for such a fine vehicle would actually consider this MOD. Might as well put some 24s on it then.
