I had a question and maybe its hidden in the forums but a quick reply would help me in this matter. I stopped by the dealer I got my camaro SS from and asked them about the ZL1 and the 1LE price. He told me that I would be lucky for them to even get an allocation for 1 much less 2 and he had someone ready to go right now. I was just wondering are these cars in their first year that hard to get or is it usually best to wait till the next year? He just made it out like no matter this year or next year it's going to be a hard find for me to get one so asking you on here about any info regarding this matter. Thanks again as always!

Only 750 being built per year. That's an average of just over 14 cars a week for the entire country. U.S. population is about 320,000,000 people. That comes out to 1 car available to an average of just under 500,000 people. While this is crude comparison and doesn't take into account factors such as high volume dealers and varying demand in specific areas of the country, it gives you a perspective that these cars will indeed be rare.

Another way to look at this is Lamborghini sold 2,100 cars world wide in 2013 with the U.S. market being the top market. I don't think we will even see 1,000 cars worldwide for the ZL1 1LE. And how often do you see Lambo's on the streets?

While i understand that analagy about half of that can be taken off due to income requirements. Then you have various other individuals who either fall in the other extremes about ford only or dodge only. I get that it is still a low amount in production but with that being said you can still buy zl1 cars usually after awhile when the fad dies down of being the newest greatest thing going. I was just thinking this 1le package would fall in that category probably after first year of production to find for me.

I can't wait to hear reviews of these things on the road. Seriously considering trading my SS Sedan and Camaro SS for one of these if the road manners are livable. A 2 for 1 thing. It would need to be ok on the road though as it might be my daily if I do that. I'm ok with some harshness but would like someone's real world experience.
