The American Auto-X series starts in March or early April. I my do some SCCS slush runs or UFO if they are running down in Marina. I'm not tuning the meth in for horsepower just yet, only going for cooling and more octane at this time. They claim you can get up to another 80 horses tuning in meth, I don't know how accurate that statement is?

Happy New Years to everyone, the car is safe in the garage with almost 17,000 miles on her. For the first time, I have no mods waiting in the garage that need to be installed!

Nice work on your car. Is the front bumper hard to get off for the tow hook?

Not hard at all, just check out the DIY thread located at http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=112831

I highly recommend that you purchase a medium sized trim removal tool to get the snap plugs out. I'm going to take a picture of mine and post it on the thread above later.

Hey Steve, did your passenger side bumper not fit all the way? the side marker looks popped out? also for the tow hook did you have to cut into the grill at all?

I did notice that after i posted the picture. It fit with no issues, went on a lot easier then that time we were trying to get yours on. I broke one of the tabs off of the side maker light so it wasn't staying out after a shake down drive, I stuck some two sided heavy duty tape in there and will see how that holds.

You need to mark the spot where you want to place the hook so it's centered between the grill, no cuts needed.

Had the same issue with my passenger side one; that plastic tab broke off when i installed the ZL-1 bumper......and now just going to use that 3M stuff you have.

Did you post pictures of your car with the ZL1 bumper? Did you get it painted already? I assume that you will be selling your old bumper or will you be keeping it as a spare?

I'm posting pics soon; just have to upload everything. I got it painted and installed in Arizona when I was at Ofer's house. He kept the old bumper and is cutting the T3 ports out for me to sell.
