Very quick and easy payment calculator

This will get you in the ballpark.

For 72 months @ 7% interest.

price/1000 x 17.

60,000 less 10,000 trade or down payment = 50,000

50,000/1000= 50

50 x 17 = $850 a month. ($852 on Chevy website)

************************************************** *****

For 60 months @ 7% interest.

price/1000 x 20.

60,000 less 10,000 trade or down payment = 50,000

50,000/1000= 50

50 x 20 = $1,000 a month. ($990 on the Chevy website)

************************************************** ******

Again, this isn't exact, but it's as quick and as simple as you can get. It's as close as you can get, being how simple it is to figure out.

Just remember this doesn't include any added warranty, or any life/health insurance. This just gives you an easy starting point.

Numbers are correct although i would rather be dragged a mile through broken glass than ever pay 7% interest. Almost a 7k difference over 1.9% that is nuts.

Interest should be much lower unless your credit sucks.

Word I'm 19 and that interest rate is twice what I'm paying on my mortgage, you might want to consider getting a few credit cards and putting them away......

.....provided you can even qualify for one. Of course if you were just using 7% as an example then this is different.

That statement sounds as if you had a co-signer ... Hence securing your loan

Yes, at 17 you require a cosigner to buy a $50,000 Performance Car lol, but (and I don't know the OP's age) it's insane that I have better credit at 19 than most people do by the time they are 25 if it's higher than that even more so.

Of course this is getting off topic. I think that we can all agree that anyone who qualifies at 7% should not be buying or financing for that matter, a Camaro ZL1, GT500 392 Challenger ETC. ETC.

I love how some of you think 7% is high. Just wait till the government settles out financially. The rates will be double digit again, for any loans and mortgages just like they use to be.... Maybe 2-3 years from now, they'll start to shoot up!

.

If you can't get a rate of 4% or less, you really should drive something much less expensive until you've got your credit & income working better.

Talk to a credit counselor or search online about how to boost your credit rating, although generally speaking it's an established history of income with very manageable debt ratio. Pay all credit cards down to 10-20 percent of their maximum. My understanding is that carrying a 10% balance is best for your rating.

Never freaking ever max your cards out.
