Ventilated Seats

Tried my Ventilated Seats for the first time. Not sure it was working or not. I think I felt something. Can someone please give me an idea (if thant is possible) of what I should be feeling if it is working correctly. Hmmmmmm...............

Thanks for your time,

Mj

They work, but only use the ambient air inside the cabin.

If it's hot inside the cabin, you get hot air. If it's cool inside the cabin, you get cool air.

I wish they used a fan that pushed more air through the seats cuz right now it's better than no air flow but not by much.

Adjust your Cabin A/C Ventilation Settings using the Dash / Floor Vents.
You will be able to feel what the Ventilated Seats can do when they are blowing Cold Air coming from the Under Dash Floor Vent.

On a side note, my Wife's Kia Optima has Air Conditioned Ventilated Seats.
Yes, her KIA...

Thanks for the responses. Appears that I need to make sure the car is cool inside.

Cheers,

That will certainly help. I notice too that I can better feel the air flow when I myself am a little hot and sweaty, especially along my back. I wonder if seat color makes a difference, too. I have the gray interior. I know they feel cooler to the touch than black or brownstone, so I think the ventilation system has to work less to feel cooler. I use it everytime I drive, and really like it.

Seat color absolutely makes a difference. My A5's seats are black and they can get quite warm when the sun is out. They're not too bad if it's dry, but if the humidity is up as well, I'll be sweating.

Or to be able to set it with seat/steering wheel memory.

As noted above, the cabin air needs to be cool as the seat fan just circulates the air that's available inside the cabin. Making sure the A/C directs some of the air to the floor/foot well area will ensure there is cool air to circulate.
I've used this feature in my Stingray several times and it works. I've had to reduce the fan speed to the lowest of the 3 settings because the air was too cold.
