You should not be allowed to drive a Camaro if you....
.........expect to be disapointed.
.........constantly complain that you can't see over the hood while sitting in the passenger seat.
.........hate admiring stares and friendly compliments from total strangers.
.........refuse to own and wear a quality pair of polarized sun glasses.
.........expect you'll never have to listen to the endearing stories from others who have owned previous generation Camaro's.
.........are so anti social and self induldgent that you refuse to acknowledge other Camaro owners.
.........are so drunk/high that you begin pushing the OnStar button in hopes that you'll instantly be transported to the sun.

Now I grew up around cars, my dad was a GM mechanic for 35+ years and has restored numerous cars. So I know quit a bit about cars. Not everyone is as fortunate as me and might not know anything about them except how to drive. That's what they pay there mechanic for or have there fluids check at a full service gas station when filling up.
So youre saying that its okay for people to be ignorant of some simple things on their car? not saying youre wrong, most of the world would probably agree with you. i just dont see the justification personally.

If people can fly vastly more sophisticated and deadly machines like an F-22 without being required to know how to perform routine maintenance on it, then driving a Camaro shouldn't be conditional on knowing that too, no matter how basic (especially since changing flat tires and filling wiper fluid are just as useful on a Pinto as they are on this car). Let's face it, we're not driving Bugatti's here, the Camaro doesn't try to kill us THAT much!

My brother in law was at SEMA last year and had to show the owner of a Pagini Zonda how to turn his car on.... not even a joke.

Learning these simple procedures...1. Shows a wllingness to learn and grow ( two important traits for driving) and 2. Will allow you to get the car to a mechanic before it turns into a costly or potentially dangerous situation.

I will add...know how to put air in your tires!

You should not be able to drive a Camaro if you don't park it as far away from other cars as possible. Or if you eat in it.
