Got a letter in the mail about my plates...

So I got a wonderful letter today saying my registration for my personalised plates is going fromm 85 to 195... I know the states lacking money but a 110 increase?!

Thinking of ditching my plates and getting rabbit in vinyl on my back window instead.

I wonder if that applies to all personalized plates or just the ones from MyPlates.com?

You can still get personalized plates that support organizations via TxDMV for $70/year. My plate is the "State of the Arts" plate design from the state and not from MyPlates.com. Guess we'll see how much it costs me next summer when I renew.

Mine were only 40 bucks... I hope this doesnt' apply to me... I'll flip them off, but after I pay it...

Edit: mine would have been $70 like rolnslo, but I have Enduring Freedom which are free to vets from that era ($30 part)

Wow I was hesitating at the old price with 6 characters. Guess I'll stick with the normal plates.

I just renewed mine and they were still $40. I would pay and increase but wouldn't be happy about it. However, mine is for my business it just works great with my car too. "KP MOVN". Keep Movin' w Kellie.
