IS THE RS PACKAGE WORTH IT ON THE 1LE??
Sorry if this has been asked before......

Researching and getting my ducks in order for my 2013 1SS/1LE purchase, is the RS package worth $1350.00 just for the Halos

What is the cost of the OEM Halos installed
What is the Cost of After market HALOS installed
Does aftermarket HALOS void my warranty??

Read somehwere here the halso are like $600.00 a piece just for the part

RS PACKAGE - MSRP $1350.00 Invoice $1088.00
• 20" painted aluminum wheels in Midnight Silver, measuring 20" x 8" in front and 20" x 9" in rear.
(1LE has the Upgraded Wheels)
• High-intensity discharge headlamps, each ringed with an LED halo
(This is what I really want out of the Package)
• Body-color roof ditch molding for a subtle but distinctive styling detail.
(Getting Victory Red, or Black so the Ditch molding dosent matter)
• Shark-fin antenna is body-color with this package.
(Same with the Shark fin getting Red or Black so it wont Matter)

I would say no, just get the head lights used or get an aftermarket set of have them retro-fitted, all of these should allow you some extra cash to personalize your head lights. No need for the rs just for head lights...

Whats the cost ? I read somewhere, cant find it but the Halos are like $600 for one, I really dont want aftermarket on my baby if i can help it, espicially if it voids my warranty..

I say yes, IMHO. this is why I got the RS on my SS.

1. Having the halo's from the factory. Easy peazy.
2. The ditch moulding looks good in the body color.
3. Same for the antenna.

Are you getting the 1LE so you can go to the track and have another car for your daily vehicle?
If so, then I would not get the RS package.

Are you planning on using the 1LE as a daily driver and going to the track as well?
Then I would get the RS package.

Are you planning on using it as a daily driver and not going to the track?
Then I would get the RS package and forget 1LE option.

You don't get the extra wheels. I think that's why 1LE people are questioning the worth of the RS package on a 1LE
