Lightbulb so is the Clunk normal or not on M6

I was reading some threads on this and couldn't find a straight answer. When shifting into first there is a clunk, if in first and driving up to 3000 rpm then depressing the clutch there is the same clunk, also sometimes when going from first to second(after when in second) there is the same noise. Seems to only happen when shifting at slower speeds. Do I need to have it inspected? Also when having it inspected at a dealer does it cost anything?

if you think your camaro is clunky you should drive my 89 ford. but from what i think you are describing it sounds normal.

Here's a good description of why this happens on the Camaro...

No noise coming from mine ... Your dealer should check it for you at no charge, take it in just for piece of mind ...

Has it been doing it from day one ?

I find that mine does this sometimes when I'm in a parking lot in first, going slow, and turning then depress the clutch and I'll get the 'clunk' just as I stop to put it in reverse to back into a parking space. But it happens sometimes other times not.

My car has 130 miles on it and does the same exact thing. Not worried, especially if my car does it right now, and im not the only one who hears it.

I have it... It furiates me. I'll probably take the car in to have the dealer look at it in a couple months.

I think all the Camaro transmissions make the same noises, but some never notice it due to differing driving habits. If you always shift at higher RPMs and never depress the clutch quickly at low speed, then you will never hear the clunks and nibbles.

I think this is it. I've pushed it in slower and faster while barley moving and you get a clunk or no clunk depending on how you do it.
