Dusk Blue for me please and make it a ZL1 only color. Do that GM, and I'll sell my Blackhawk Camaro. Received another offer last night for it. I'll be paying cash and keeping mine stock.

I saw a blue pontiac vibe today, looked really sharp! Is that the same color as on the G8 (stryker blue)?

I like ABM. If its available I would definately order my Zl1 in that color.

The interesting thing about color sales numbers is, they don't really mean anything.
In order for color sales history to matter, all cars would have to be customer orders. Dealers and factories order based on their concieved notion of popular colors.

Go outside and stand on the side of the road. What do you see...a sea of silver, white and black. How boring can you get.
Poll auto enthusiasts on colors rather than "economy car and mini-van buyers" and you will get two different scenarios.

Obviously there is ALOT of interest for a lighter shade of blue. the dark colours dont suit the camaro asmuch as the bright metallic colours...

Why does GM hate blue? They should bring back LeMans Blue like they had on the C6 Vette. Not to dark, not to light, just right! Kinda like Miller Lite.

The topic of bright blue vehicles has been discussed many times. GM or Chevrolet does not hate bright blue. The facts are that the car buying pubic doesn't buy enough bright blue vehicles these days to make it profitable for Chevrolet to offer bright blue as a color choice.

In the days when it wasn't prohibitively expensive to offer close to 20 different color choices, it was feasible for Chevrolet to offer several low volume colors and still make a profit. These days Chevrolet can't offer a color palette with 18 or 19 colors because with current manufacturing constraints it would be too expensive to support that many different colors and be able to sell the vehicles at a price that most people would be willing to pay.

Just because there are a number of vocal devotees of certain colors expressing their desire for those colors on a forum on the internet, doesn't mean that there are enough real buyers willing to purchase that color so that it makes financial sense for Chevrolet to offer it.
