Local dealership we hold our Camaro club meetings at have 3 unsold ZL1's 2 currently built, bayed awaiting transport and one that had a TPW already all at MSRP and no deposit required to secure the car

May 7th!!! Yikes, I feel for you buddy. I was bumped from March 5th to April 2nd. If I'm bumped again, it will be someone elses Z. Summer is short enough already in my opinion and I'm not wasting any of it waiting for a car company to iron out kinks. There are plenty of equal or better performing options out there ready to be purchased today and driven tomorrow IMO. I'll purchase one of them.

Quick question snapp when did you order your car just curious I talked to a rep at GM in Oshawa earlier today and they are looking in to my order and said they would call me back a soon as he knows. I also asked for an update on the status on the ZL1's sitting and when production will resume but I do realize that I'm one out of thousands that have asked the same question. We will see when he calls back

I'm sure everyone on the site is aware there is a problem that needs to addressed.

This thread just invites misery to be shared by folks that can not think outside the box.
PLEASE, delete this thread,there is no added value to the community with keeping this open wound for folks to add salt to.

Can we start a poll for folks to respond to and let the community decide if we want to continue this pointless discussions regarding the QC hold?
I for one believe the majority of the folks on this site believe the right thing to do is be patient. We need to take a position and let the "minority complainers" know they don't own the site.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for encouraging feedback and good discussions, but this thread has lived on for too long.

I'd say leave it be. It is now part of the C5 record and will go down as such.

Learn from history.

This will be another lesson in 'Just be patient and it will work out'.

The people complaining a lot will be glad they waited and will not remember this as bad as it seems now. They might even appreciate it. I'll bet they will laugh about it later.

I spoke with my dealer. Not really much available to him either, other than the car is on hold and the allocation has not been picked up. I may end up with a 2013 after all. Regards.

Don't the moderators have the option to hide this thead and any new threads posted on this subject, this way we can keep the BS out while retaining folks passion on this subject.

Last month everyone was excited, a QA issue comes up and folks forget how they felt last month.

Well said... As long as it doesn't get carried away and we respect the rules it should be fine... I find it informative... It keeps me upto date and this Will be te same thread that gets announced QC has been lifted

That would obviously be up to them. Either way they have to monitor it. But they take criticism on both sides. As long as there are no forum rules being broken the thread will stay open.
