Awesome!
Dude, finally got to check out your thread, awesome! Love the color theme and the use of LED's Nice use of the knight riders in the grills too, and keeping the blue theme. Which lights did u use under hood? The pod's? How many? The underhood looks great!!!
Friends have had me paint a couple lil Camaro's too. Check em out. One 1/24 scale in Carbon Flash Metallic and the other is a Hot wheels for a friend with a IOM ZL1. I even did the hood strip in CFM and rest in gloss black to match owners car perfectly! Nice work!!!

Newest change, painted my headlight shrouds white. Going to install demon eyes soon and halo fog lights... hopefully color changing ones!
Next project after that is to paint my interior trim a different color. Also colored my stitching blue with a fabric pen |

Started painting my interior trim. Took the cloth off the dash, and painted the speedometer bezel as well. Door panels, steering wheel bezel, and shifter plate soon I hope...
This is my friend, he helped me paint them. He had to ride his motorcycle home in the low 40 degree weather after painting. I let him have some of my wifes winter gear Figured I'd give him some credit lol Last edited by MackMan; 10-09-2012 at 09:27 PM. |

Love what you did with the trim! What kinda paint did you use? Is it tough to take all the cloth out?

Thanks!
The cloth wasn't bad, it had lots of glue but I used adhesive remover in a spray can to get it off pretty easily. We used duplicolor paint and clear coat, color is intense blue pearl. It turned out really nice for just doing it in my garage. Cost me about $30 or so for paint. I still need to buy new screws where I had to sand off the plastic posts holding the door trim on. |
