Honestly though if you go by numbers, the challenger will allegedly have the advantage, but it's so close that it boils down to who's better at row'n the gears.

Challenger SRT8. From all indications, the 470HP is underrated compared to what the are actually putting out. Try 500+ from independent testing.

He will beat you if he can drive it. Its alot of power to get that big dog out of the hole. Tune yours and you got a better chance. His computer is still locked and cant be tuned yet....

Even with bolt on's it'll be a very close race. Better get that blower for good measure.

Also, he had to pay upwards of $15k more than I did. Ya just can't beat the HP / $ that the Camaro provides!

If both of you have perfect launches and shifts, the Challenger will win. The 392 Challenger (2011+ SRT8) is pretty impressive. I've heard of some running mid/low 12's stock.
