...1st qtr 2011 starts in Oct 2010. Available could mean to order, could mean to drive home. My bet is going on the ordering process seeing how the Camaro panned out for us.

I'm puttin my money on a January 2011 pickup date.

We might even be able to start the ordering process 4th Qtr 2010 which is July 2010.

Lookin forward to seeing these on the road!

Any bets on how much the #1 will go for?

Huh? October is the start of the 4th quarter, not 1st. GM goes by the real calender with this stuff. Also, why in the world would GM release a convertible to the public in the middle of winter? Most places have a few feet of snow on the ground.

i also read in the motor trend magazine that the z/28 is comming out at the end of 2011 as a 2012 model! and the z/28 motor will have a 6.2l super charged making 556 hp and 551ft-lb

This would be a very late start for 2011 model...

If it begins production in 2011 it can't be a 2011 model. As for the wait, there were some delays regarding a German company and the actual convertible top they were supposed to supply, not to mention GM's bankruptcy. I'm sure it was in their initial plan to begin building them one year after the coupes. I don't see how the Z28 figures into any of this.
