Just took my 2SS on it's maiden voyage of 2000 miles and it performed flawlessly!!! I only have two suggestions, one is add adjustable lumbar supports to the front seats.... My back bothered me alot with that long drive amd my other cars have lumbar and never had a problem. Also add more stripe options, like the Bumblebee type, w/ gloss black also!

I would want full ambient lighting, better paint job, and body color interior inserts.

Let's add : better placement of the parking brake, cup holders in the back seat, real nav. I know that this is a muscle car, I had a first gen, and compared to that it has come a long way. But, when compared to other cars in the same price range we should get some of these creature comforts as well ( plus I am spoiled from our Tahoe and love the nav in it ! ).

Only complaint so far is I would love to see a better configuration for front cup holders on the M6. I would also like to see the front storage compartment extended forward slightly to accomodate my elbow while resting my hand on the shifter. I know that is picky but that is the one ergonomic issue that I noticed the first 100 miles.

This camaro is quite likely to be one of those rare examples of form and function that for so many reasons define what an automobile is or should be. It's really interesting I think that such a contradiction of what people are suppose to want is so obviously what they really want. I have always had an apreciation of the magic that can be made in the medium of the automobile. A little chrome goes a long way now a days. I remember the interior of the 64 impala ss as if it were some very dear but long lost dream now. Everybody knows that sort of interior detail can't be done in this age. But then who would have thought that the 2010 camaro could not be built fast enough to satisfy demand. Makes you wonder how important a little satisfaction can be don't it?

Rob's talking about hideaway headlights- trademark of the RS back in the first gen.
I'm not sure I can agree though. I like the halo headlights the RS have this generation.

2011 Model Year. Let's Talk!
I am currently planning on ordering a 2SS camaro in Feb 2010. What options do you think will make it worth waiting for a 2011?

Doubt they add much for a couple years. Selling like hotcakes so they may add a couple cheap options that will mark up the price. Maybe a HUD that everyone wanted at launch. Highly doubt a nav system.

aside from HUD ... NAV... and park assist... theres not much more that you can put in this... this car is awesom as it is... from the outside tho, a 2011 will probably look identical to a 2010
