Looks great! Thanks again for your order. You will have to let us know how they do when the snow hits!

We live in central VA and will more than likely only see a few days of snow so most of our driving will be on dry roads with the occasional plowed and salted roads with only a few blocks of secondary (un-maintained) roads to deal with. I know too much info (TMI) but I usually buy everything x 3 and its breaking the bank.

With only accessional snow I’m thinking the 275’s in the back (600+rwhp) would be ok???

What brand/setup do you recommend for my conditions?
Do you have a preference of phone or online ordering?

Thanks, good thread!
I guess I’ll look elsewhere?

^ I apologize. I missed your question. Yes 275's in the back actually work pretty well. I would do the Pirelli Scorpion Ice and Snow. 245/45R20 front and 275/40R20 rear. Ordering either way is cool I actually prefer phone so I can make sure everything is correct. Please give me a call at 800-428-8355 X664. Thanks again for the reminder.

We finally got snow in St. Louis and the car wouldn't go anywhere with the factory tires. Does anyone have a picture of the General G-Maxes on a car and how do they handle in snow? I'm thinking of these mounted on the stock rims due to the price. Thanks for the advice everyone.

I don't have a picture unfortunately. Keep in mind an all season tire on this type of car with higher horsepower and rear wheel drive will only get you through a very light snow. 1-2 inches max. I think it should be ok for St. Louis but will depend how bad the winter is.

Thanks Rudy. I'd go the snow tire idea on a different set of wheels if the money wasn't tight. I guess I'm looking for a good looking all season to replace the pirellis on the stock rims and leave it in the garage if it gets really bad.

How many miles are Camaro owners getting on Pirelli Pzero tires? I have close to 18,000 miles on the car, and may have to be replaced in several months, but may not have to since I was involved in an accident. I was not hurt but car might be totaled. If it is not, it may take time to get replacement parts to fix it. Are they any tire brands that are either better or worse than Pirelli including winter and non winter tires?

Hey,

I just became a new Camaro owner last Saturday! Unfortunately I live in North Dakota, and this is going to be my DD. I am wondering what would be my best option for snow tires?

I have a 2011 Camaro 2LT with the RS package.

I want to have a second set of rims for my snow tires so I dont damage the 20's. Would I be able to put 17's or 18's on my 2LT with the RS package that all the tires could be the same size?

I dont know much about tires so I thank you for the help in advance!!

Thanks,
Michael
