How much power is 6 putting down?

Any plans on upping it? From what I remember that one guy blew his engine up at 8?

Don't know about the power because we haven't done a dyno in a while. Probably around 420 RWHP or so. Plan to eventually up it to around 10-12 psi when we have the new fuel system. We have a wide band and are running it rich for now to avoid those kind of issues.

Motor will handle 10-11 PSI with the tune and fuel delivery done correctly. We also upgraded the timing chains/gears in Gretchen so there were no weak links.

I think the failures to date were tune/fuel issues.

I just took it for a little spin with HDRS who stopped in for a visit and I upped it to 7 PSI with good fuel/meth. I'll let him post up his impressions.

I'm sorry you'll be here in the heat, but I'm excited. I would love to see your car in person!

The local Camaro club meets on Fridays, so maybe you can swing by if you're in town long enough.

Turns out the event is now going to be in Austin and looks like April (thank God). How this all works out. Even if it doesn't, at worst we could come down in the Fall. The wife has lots of friends in Ausin and SA. I know it is real close for you guys, but we could maybe meet somewhere northwest of Austin.

Sounds like HDRS made it down for a test drive. Hopefully he'll give his impressions. I just want to say, not fair the competition gets to drive my car and I don't get to drive his. Just kidding of course.

Yeah I had the pleasure I think it was over the summer, can't imagine what it is like now. Don't know if I will get the chance to try again, but here's hopin'. Tough part is I just get jealous. Someday... Someday

I do appreciate the fact you gave up your car so that Tracy could make these strides for our car, huge deal to the LLT community.

There's plenty of time for you to go over and drive it again. The heads won't be finished until March.

As soon as it gets back I'll plan to come up there again. I'll see if I can talk Bob into driving his vette or the '55 this time. Then we'll have three bad ass chevies to go cruise in.

The right place at the right time with the right person and the right car. This is how may day was. If you ever get the chance to meet or do business with Tracy I would tell you to jump at the opportunity this Guy is amazing. You can tell right away he puts his heart into his work. Now let me tell you about gretchen's car.this is a little difficult for me because all I see is the 1/4 mile and not road racing oh yeah I'm hooked on the nitrous this doesn't help. Cold start up the car sounds angry and wants to go wait for the rpms to drop and now hungry rumble at idle. We pull out on to the road and the car feels smooth all most stock. We get to a spot were we can open it up and Tracy says hit it as he is monitoring the gauges the car accelerates at first like a modded V6 then around 4k rpm I think not sure the car just explodes into a beast it pulls hard and harder with each shift definitely a bad ass ride. The only way I can compare the difference between your car and my car is in the launch your car feels very controllable and smooth to were with my car feels like OMG hold the F##$ on but after that they feel very much the same. The two of you must be very proud of what you have accomplished with your beautiful car and thank you both for this amazing opportunity.
Also I hope one day soon you will have the opportunity to drive my car.
