Rubbing

Has anyone else noticed rubbing between the body and lowering mechanism? If I look in the opening toward the front of the car. I can see where the paint has been scraped away and transferred to the scissor assembly. It is the same on both sides. The assembly is not close though when the top is lowered. Trying to see if this is normal or not, my gut says it is not. I'll try to post some photos later on to show it.

Added photos below

Sorry to hear about the rubbing concern. The pictures would be a big help! Please post when you get the chance. If this is a concern you'd like to get diagnosed, let me know and I'd be more than happy to schedule an appointment for you.

Yikes, something looks seriously wrong. I'd get it looked at ASAP.

Never seen that before! Something is out of alignment. Get it checked out fast, and keep us posted!
Good luck!

Customer service is looking for a "qualified" shop to take a look for me.
