Just realized something camaro doesn't have

Never noticed there's no rear windshield wiper... So used to having them the last 7+ years. Picked up car today..was raining like crazy tonight and I couldn't see squat behind me.

It's not an SUV or a minivan.

It's not a hatchback like the 3rd gen or the 350/370Z

same here, never really have a problem with the camaro though even without wipers
you could always use that stuff they use for glass so the water beads off, might be worth a try

So situational awareness is not something that you feel is important while driving a 4000lb metal projectile? I'm shocked (not really...)

I've honestly never noticed any abnormal loss of rear visibility in the rain. And I agree with mikeSS, I think they look horrible on most cars.

Is this a serious statement? You're probably the guy who hogs the fast lane on freeways because you have no clue on what's going on behind you. I probably look in my rear view mirror about 30% of the time when I'm driving. Just an example........if I see someone tailgating me around town, I'll make sure I extend my stopping distances as much as I can. I'm willing to bet that over half of rear end crashes could have been avoided if the front vehicle knew what was going on behind them prior to the crash.

Oh....a Camaro isn't supposed to have a rear window wiper. That's why GM didn't put one there.

Rear wipers are for suv's and station wagons and/or soccer mom vehicles. A camaro is not in tjat category. Please dont judge the 5th gen because ur old eclipse had them. Disgusting imo

Rain x your back window to help rear visibility.
