The pic taken is in all of his posts and not meant to be a pic of a ZL1.
Looks like an SS pic, perhaps to make things less confusing he should have posted a pic of a 2014 ZL in his original post.

Like whats been said already there was alot of R & D performed on the front to help maximize air flow properly for the best benifits possible.
