So far for me the fifth gen. is the best but i still love my 94 Z28 and what i did to it to set it out from the rest and no i dont have pics. If i save up enough money i would love to buy one with somewhat low miles and do it again. That was my first car back in 98, and had it for seven years till i finally let it go :(

since I have only owned a 5th gen I can only say the current modal but have always been partial to the 1969 and my first real love of cars was a mid 80's Iroc-Z, at least they looked cool back in the day :o)

ZL1 or 1969 for best, somewhere in the late 70s to early 80s has to be the worst. I'm just not sure exactly which one.

Since I owned a 67 camaro RS/SS and a 68 Firebird, gen 1 is up there with my Gen 5. In all honesty, I haven't liked anything in between. Gen 3 and 4 were terrible in my opinion.

75 would be the worst year for all American cars as that was the year that all models had to meet certain pollution (but not mileage) standards. The big three just tuned the cars down and bolted on alot of pollution controls. For example, a 75 Vette (I had one) was rated at 195 horse power. I currently own a 75 Cutlass Salon, which is a beautiful car but very weak with the original 350. The good news is these cars were and still are very drivable with power discs and steering, sturdier sway bars etc etc. So once you dump a built 455 into 'em you've got insta muscle car! It's cool how we've learned to integrate the pollution controls into the package and make gross amounts of horse power with safety and OK mileage.

It's a toss up between the year it came with the "iron duke" and 2002 when it was game over. Clearly 2009 was the best as we saw it live again.

1969 was the last good year, until 2010. If i could have the size and body style of a 67 with today modernizations, it would be incredible.
