Well, let me get started with this. I love my v6 camaro. It's beautiful, it's fast, it's an eye catcher for sure, and i payed for it myself. i'm 19 years old. But you know, i'm pretty interested in modding cars as is every other person. And y'know i want new rims, new headlights, tints, etc. I figured. Why should i do all this crap to my v6 when i could just get what i wanted first. The SS. I found a few used for 32k at my local dealer and my friends dad is helping me out, as he's a dealer. This is not spontaneous, i just figured, why put halo's, new rims and tires, and even exhaust on my v6 that'll cost around 5 grand? It's not worth it, where i can just get the RS kit on an SS. Now the thing is, The 2 or 1SS. Give me your opinions on which i should get. They have one that's victory red at the dealer, 11k miles, new rims (which i'm not too fond of), with the RS package. It was 31k. They said they could throw stripes on and such obviously, if i wanted. Now also give me your personal opinons on the color combinations on camaros. This is just to see what other people think, just so i don't just catch my own eyes.

What color combo do you like best? I like black with white stripes a lot. And i do feel like blacking out the rims eventually.

If you go for the 1SS or the 2SS, I highly suggest you invest another $3,500 on the 1LE package. It's an awesome deal.

Can i get the RS and 1LE package on the same car? i know the rims/tires would change with the 1LE package

2lt was in my budget if you can afford go ahead get the 2ss with 1le package if not 2ss RS is also sweet.

You cannot go wrong with summit white with black stripes.

Haha. I mean, i do want to black out my camaro. I find it very attractive. Thing is, I can't drive stick. :( So the 1LE would pretty much be out of the question. I'm so confused on what to get though. I love the black zl1 rims but i want halos too. And i'd rather the halos already be in the car rather than doing it seperate.

Not worth it? Matter of opinion, but it is your opinion

That being said, if I had the money, I would order a Victory Red 1SS/6 speed manual with splash guards and dual mode exhaust. I like my cars simple and low optioned.

At 19 just be sure to consider the additional cost of higher insurance premiums and premium fuel / worse gas mileage.

OP is looking for a used SS, I'm sure the ones in that price range as 2010s, 11s before the 1LE existed.

I mean i don't really get the best gas mileage as it is. As long as i'm happy, such little things don't matter. And insurance wise, i'm umbrella'd.

I don't think it's worth it either. You're going to take a massive hit trading up to the SS when you can add everything you want for a lot less.

Well, if you are going to upgrade, might as well get the 2SS so you won't regret not getting it in the future.
