1LE, ZL1, Z/28. Purpose built cars.....purpose? Stand on it and push the envelope as far as common sense will allow. 1LE is pretty stiff, Z/28 will be very stiff, and ZL1 can be just as smooth and comfy as Grandma's Oldsmobile when in tour mode, or, a raped ape on rails in PTM sport modes. Pick your poison for what suits your needs <and wallet>. I just have the need.....for speed.......
BTW Z/28 will fall in line accordingly and not be priced to the moon as some would have you believe. 2013 dollars, 1LE 40K, ZL1 55K, 2014 Z/28?? 60-65K tops. But scarce to get for'14, slightly better <less scarce> for '15. Price won't be the issue, just the build numbers.

All I have to say is I'm 100% glad I didn't wait for either the Z/28 or the 2014 models. I like my 2013 1LE just fine.

I want a z/28, but I've been torn between a z/28 or a Challenger SRT 392. Wish I could have both lol

Two completely different cars. The 392 Challenger is my favorite car at the moment, it does everything well and looks fantastic. I'd hold off on purchasing a 13 though as I am sure there is something better coming in the near future. It may be a SRT 392 track pack car, or maybe the rumored 6.2 supercharged package. I can't wait.

If I get a Z/28, it'll have some major work done to the LS7 and ill have to get different tires and rims since whichever one i choose will be my daily driver

I know but I'm not comparing them performance wise. I'm comparing them to what I want in a vehicle is all. I bought an apple, though I'm now realizing I like the oranges a little more haha.
Hell, if I can, ill buy both

How about this. Everyone that guesses price, also guess how many they will build per year. I'll start. $65,995 and 200.
