You need to go west young man. Western Md has many badass country roads to joyride on.

If you want to drive fast, then get on 70 heading out to Frederick. I've literally never seen a cop between 29 and Frederick, lots of straightaways and, outside of peak times, rarely much traffic to contend with.
If you want the scenic routes, then check out this link: Maryland Byways |

I was gonna say the drive up to Skyline Drive, but people have done a bunch of dumb shit and they supposedly patrol that area a lot now.

US 50 on the eastern shore makes for a great cruise, but you wouldn't want to be pulling 75-85 mph for too long there because usually Po's are around every once in a while. Harford County does have some good roadway's to cruise on. Carroll County has a lot of back roads but the surfacing varies a bit & some of the roads are really narrow. Baltimore County has some good curvy roads. Old National Pike in Carroll & Frederick counties from MD32 on west is a nice road to drive, especially west of Frederick all the way to Hagerstown on US40 not much traffic & mostly straight roadway with a 55mph speed limit & full lane width shoulders and it's also somewhat scenic. If you go that way on a Saturday or Sunday it takes you right by Mason Dixon Dragway off MD Rt. 66 and you might be able to catch the races there. I think the Baltimore & Washington area is too crowded overall though for good cruising roads especially with Prince Georges & Montgomery counties having such a Photo enforcement fetish like they do.

I will agree with blue Phoenix, except when you come old national, jump off onto 17 and either go toward burkittsville(Blair witch project area) or if you go N on 17 it'll take you eventually to Middletown and 40/old 40, mason Dixon being off of 40, not 66 though. You'd want to stay off the speed through 144 coming out of Baltimore as there is usually hefty traffic pockets in between open road. Back roads through Carroll county should be good, "pipe" could help you there better, I'm more of the hagerstown and west knowledge.
