This fuse pull will not make the car throw a code of any kind?

Nope, your car will not throw any codes at all. I've done this mod on my 1LE that I had and I have it done on my ZL1.

What the fuse pull does is keep the flap open on the outer exhaust pipe. That tail pipe bypasses muffler insulation and is pretty much a straight pipe. Your exhaust will now take the path of lower resistance and you will notice your outside tips will be the only tips getting dirty from exhaust.

While you car is running put your hand to the out pipe. You will feel hot exhaust. The inner pipe you will fill nothing and maybe even a little suction pulling in a little air back the free flowing pipe.

Nice video... but it would have sounded exactly the same w/ the fuse in. Flap is already open at idle or went reving it up like that.

Since the exhaust is now also coming out of the outer pipes, what's the chance this will eliminate or decrease the possibility of the muffler packing coming out of the inside pipes?

Did not like the burble during deceleration with the fuse pulled so I put it back in. Easy mod but just was not for me. I think the flaps keep a little back pressure so the burble is not as noticeable. At least not for me it wasn't. Could just me who knows.

Good question? I know I haven't had any issues with the packing now that I've done the fuse pull. Then again, i'm not sure what has caused the packing in the first place.

Question 1. So basically this makes the NPP cars louder all the time vs. louder only when driving and you WOT the accelerator right? Question 2. So due to the freer flowing exhaust all of the time, has anyone done any dyno runs or 0-60 times or anything to compare the differences?
