FI traction

Well I know this should be put in the suspension section. But I want to mainly know what the v6 FI are using to keep traction. I am in the process of change my set up which is only h&r springs. So far I have got some bc coilover and looking to do trailer arm and sway after c5f3 and install all once I get them instead of one at a time. So my question is what are y'all using and why? And pics if you have any.

I had asked Chase from Apex to build me a nice set up for my turbo kit. And he came up with a nice package that is good for up to 600hp. I got the PFADT sway bars and rear arm package. BMR rear cradle pro kit. I also have the FE3 but scared to drop the car. I lost a little height by switching to the BMR bushing anyway. If you look at my drive by video the take off part was done with the TC off. I love the way it handles and I can plant the power pretty well. I don't want to imagine me launching this car with the stock set up.

Tires

I am running Nitto 555R 305/35/20 drag radials. The 20'' wheels are not the best setup for drag racing but its what i have to run for now.The Nittos seem to do really well on the street, will see how well i can get them to hook up at the track next week at cf3

Agree on the 20" comment...

@hunterV6, are you opposed to swapping tires at the track? If you really wanted to hook, i would look at running the smallest wheel you can... A 16" on a V6? Then look at some Mickey Thompsons... maybe a even a slick... Really think you need to loose the 20" though... get a tire with some sidewall!

Looks like 16 might be a bit to small... 17s would be nice...

I find that our cars are getting similar by the day! lol. I'm running the same tire set up as Smoke, and they're on 20 inch wheels. However not the factory wheels, they're on a much lighter TSW wheel.

As far as suspension mods go, I've only got Pfadt Springs, Sways and Endlinks. My set up is more for handling than it is for drag. However I'm looking into getting Pfadt trailing arms and bushings in the near future.

I don't have too much traction issue, granted I've only been to the track once with my super charger and the tune/fuel system really isn't what it should be. However it seems the new rear diff that Tracy but in def helps, especially having a LSD.
