Dude, I honestly think that you're sources may not be in the know about it or something, because I'm definitely not buying that bull***. If it was only a design study, then why is it still popping up nowadays? It of course won't be the exact same thing, but I think that GM is trying to eat it's own words, after realizing how popular the design is and how quickly it would catch on to potential customers. Let's face it... people want to own the damn thing and would probably be willing to pay top dollar if this was the look of the next gen. corvette. If it's only a design study and the next gen. corvette won't look as awesome, then potential customers won't have a problem turning their backs to GM and spend their money elsewhere.

I guess we'll have to see in a few years who is right. Until I hear otherwise, the Centennial Concept is nothing but a concept. Design elements may make it to the C7, but as far as we know, it will not be the production car.

I think it doesn't get much better than fenwicks sources. LOL I expect some design cues to be taken to the C7 from this, but that is about it. Like I said earlier. I just don't love this car. It's cool as hell, but it is not something that I would buy.

I'll take either. That bodystyle looks AMAZING.

Even toyota is taking queues from it. Look at the front of the Lexus LFA...

Nice.

I'm betting had the design been as universally accepted as the Camaro was, this would have been the C7. It however...wasn't. As near as I can tell from the posts I read everywhere, the feelings on this car are 50/50.

Thats simply too risky a design to bring to life.

I think its ballsy and pretty awesome though, and I hope at the very least the look and feel of the interior makes it to the C7.

Call it "borrowed styling cues" or "watered down" but in the end, they both mean essentially the same thing: The C7 may bear a resemblance to that car, but nobody would ever confuse the two.

By the way, anyone think this is actually Sideswipe from TF3?

Look at the hood scoops. They are identical to the new BB... so my best guess is... yes... Sideswipe has took off the top for TF3... and me likey

nice, that looks sweet. the only thing i dont like about the new stingray concept is that it doesnt have the classic circle tailights. other than that, it looks amazing
