So...i guess 2012 is THE end of world...for me
Well...GM has just announced they are releasing like 44,000 people by 2012. And also closing down 14 plants down in north america (Hopefully not Oshawa)
But...the big one that hit me in da face was...they are only keeping Chevy, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac...and pontiac is prolly gonna be officially pronounced dead by the end of the year. I love my pontiac...i would rather them keep pontiac over buick...I mean...A BUICK???...what did buick do for GM that was so crazy and kickass other than the GSX (aka buick gto)....Pontiac had the original muscle with the GTO , kept things rollin in public and hollywood with the trans am , the awesome G8...whatever...i'm prolly just speakin out of fanboyism for Chief Pontiac. 2012 IS THE END OF THE WORLD

Honestly I would have bought a new TransAm before a new Camaro. Oh well, maybe someday, maybe not.

But killing off Pontiac makes more sense because it was targted to about the same demographics as Chevy. Buick has "white hair" following (old folks).

And Pontiac has a much larger following with the Trans Am in my opinion.. More so than the Camaro thanks to Smoky and the Bandit and Knight Rider..

Buick is entry level luxury
Buick does not offer any cars that appeal to anyone under 35. I think the only reason they are keepin buick is because they are makin a killin over in china with the buick brand...but then again...they also make like 8 models overseas that are not available here as a buick. Buick is doin well in other parts of the world...like in Kuwait...its actually one of top sellin cars lol I don't see why anyone would choose a buick over a caddy though They are currently around the same price 2k+- Like the Lucerne and the CTS ...CTS is 35k and Lucerne is 32k (Atleast in this comparison...you can see the cars that are similair in price)
