car cover washer safe??
i have the gm car cover with stripes and wanted to know if anybbody puts it in the washer and dryer or how do they clean it?

i have the GM one that is the 4way stretch material, and i just us the hypo allergenic laundry detergent on cold water and i dry it either outside on non windy days or let it tumble on air dry in the dryer. Using Tide or Gain might be too harsh for the inside lining of the cover.

I would imagine that it would be easiest to wipe it down while it's on the car. I have the same cover and I never really thought about how to wash it. I am up for some info myself.

wiping it down isnt enough because i have tire wet on the tires then it gets on the grey car cover and it looks bad.. ill try how stark said and let u guys know how it goes
