Catback kit without mufflers?

I have a pair of GMPP "on road" mufflers that I got from my dealership. I figured that the "axle back" kit would be good enough.

After looking under the car today, I saw that the stock pipes from the cats to the mufflers are kinda goofy and have kinks in odd places.

I wonder if it would be possible to buy the pipes only from a borla/corsa/etc... catback kit, and not get the mufflers. I just want the pipes that come off of the cats, an X-pipe, and the pipes leading into the mufflers.

Anyone know if that would be possible?

Check around, but there are some company's offering what they call is a mid-pipe kit.

Yep, saw pipes only from the axle back this weekend. Done by his local muffler shop.

I think the best thing to do is sell the factory exhaust you have, and just purchase a full catback exhaust kit. That way everything will fit perfectly and flow excellent.

If not then I would just keep what you have and change it when and if you would like to add headers to the car.
