New York's ban doesn't cover Mini 14s... Just their SR15... That pistol grip and collapsible stock must be what makes it so evil and deadly.

That's odd. I wonder why they excluded them? Not that I'm complaining I just wonder what the reasoning is....

I do like the Mini 30's though!
They're a high quality action, copied one of the greats! Do you have any mags at all?

If that wasn't so crazy, it would be hilarious!

Maybe it's because it's a Ruger.
... Ruger means, "Peace" in, uhh, German..
yeah, that's it

Perfect example of their ignorance.

It doesn't meet the criteria-they have to be semiautomatic with a detachable box magazine and have one military rifle style characteristic, such as a pistol grip, folding stock, bayonet lug, or flash suppressor.

It just shows what the anti gun people know, which is almost nothing about guns. They are trying to ban a look which is exactly what the AWB of 1994 was-a banning of cosmetic features.

Oh, not sure if this was mentioned but they didn't put in a clause that makes LEOs an exception so at this point and time, NO ONE in NY can have those evil "assault" weapons with their heinous accoutrements. Also, I don't believe they banned the FN 5.7 either. I saw the list somewhere and cannot find it now.

Based on their description I'm surprised they didn't ban the Mini-14 base on the "Tactical" model that Ruger sells.

It's just a matter of time... it'll turn up. Local gun shop had some boxes at $39 per 50..... maybe it's time for you to start reloading.

Oh wait.... can't find reloading stuff either

I'd like to see enough New Yorkers leave the state to ruin the revenue.

Can we NOW kick California and New York out of the union?

*sarcasm*

But how bout the US?

But no guarantees. LOL.

At least it was $300 under MSRP and no deposit. (I'm a good customer)
