Now that the problem has been fixed they can start production
of the ZL1's on the fast track. I'm guessing they can
probably make around 75 percent or more of there original
run of MY 2012. Before they start production of the MY 2012
plus there a number of dealers that have ZL1's arriving
to there dealerships unsold at this point. Just need to
spend some time looking for the combination of color
options that would satisfy you.
I'm anxious for my car no doubt, but as long as I get my
car with at least a couple of weeks practice time before
Camerofest I'm good.

I'm guessing once they figure out the TPW's of the 3000 orders they will be able to determine how many 1100's will move up and which ones will fall to 2013.

I for one don't really care as there are pros and cons to both. 2013 Nav and new colors are appealing to me.

No one knows yet... but for sure some sort of blue... I'm guessing that Dusk color since it is already slated to be used. Or possibly Carbon Flash since it has also been in use for the 45th cars. Couldn't use it in 2012 due to #69 being the only one but this is a new YM...

I think they should make 2,012 ZL1's this year. And since I'm sure I was the first to come up with that idea, I'd like to request I get #2012. My order # is QGRB32. Thanks!

I am with you 100%. I believe if GM gave allocations to dealers that could order they should provide all those orders for 2012. People here that are saying no big deal for the ones that did not make it for 2012 they will have a better radio, WHO cares about the new radio? This is for the people that have their built already. I have the same right about having a limited ZL1 like everyone that ordered same time as I did (most people that have theirs already built ordered way after I did). LOL @ this special limited edition 2012... and also @ how it's our right to have one.

None of us has any clue right now if they will build them all or not. The less they build the more limited the ones that get built are.

Short years have happened other times and it never made them any more valuable. But this is different I'm sure...

I really don't care if I get a 2012 or 2013 as long as it arrives before I have to store it for the winter. But if I don't get one until November, it will be the longest winter of my life...

I asked my dealer if my order doesnt make it for the 2012 model year would I be automatically placed in for 2013. He said no. They would have to go through the process of cancelling my 2012 and placing a new order for 2013 and that it would not keep my place in line for allocation. Since I was allocated one for 2012, any allocation for 2013 may be spoken for already so I would have to wait or find another dealer with a 2013 allocation. This really sucks.
